Artisan Story

At the edge of the city, steel gives way to water.

Pier 17 draws its character from that meeting point—the hard, reflective depth of twisted hematite set against the shifting blues, turquoise, amber, and sun-washed tones of Caribbean Beach Picasso glass.

The alternating pattern gives the bracelet a steady urban rhythm, while no two Picasso rondelles look quite the same. It's structured without being rigid, colorful without being loud, and designed without a gender in mind.

Why You'll Love It

The contrast is what makes Pier 17.

The dark metallic hematite grounds the design, while the Picasso glass brings irregular flashes of turquoise, ocean blue, warm amber, cream, and earthy color. Because the rondelles have their own individual patterning, the bracelet looks different as it moves around the wrist.

And I really like that this piece doesn't need to be labeled "men's" or "women's." It's simply a great bracelet.

Artisan's Note

The variation in the Caribbean Beach Picasso beads is intentional and essential to the design. Their mottled colors and fire-polished facets mean each bead—and therefore each finished bracelet—has its own character.
