If you don't have a measuring tape, you can use a piece of string, a ribbon, or even a strip of paper. Step 2: Mark and Measure If using string or paper, mark the point where the ends meet. Lay it flat against a ruler to find your "snug" measurement in inches or centimeters. Step 3: Find your preferred fit To ensure your bracelet isn't too tight, add a small amount to your measurement based on how you like to wear your jewelry: • Snug fit: Add 1/4" to 1/2" • Comfort fit (Standard): Add 3/4" to 1" • Loose fit: Add 1 1/4" Artisan Tip: If you are buying a chunky bead style or a piece with larger gemstones, we recommend opting for a "Comfort fit" to account for the thickness of the beads.
