Finding your perfect fit is easy! Since many of our pieces are singular, one-of-a-kind creations, we recommend measuring your wrist before purchasing to ensure a comfortable fit.
Step 1: Use what you have Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the widest part of your wrist (usually the bone). If you don't have a measuring tape, you can use a piece of string, a ribbon, or even a strip of paper.
Step 2: Mark and Measure If using string or paper, mark the point where the ends meet. Lay it flat against a ruler to find your "snug" measurement in inches or centimeters.
Step 3: Find your preferred fit To ensure your bracelet isn't too tight, add a small amount to your measurement based on how you like to wear your jewelry:
• Snug fit: Add 1/4" to 1/2"
• Comfort fit (Standard): Add 3/4" to 1"
• Loose fit: Add 1 1/4"
Artisan Tip: If you are buying a chunky bead style or a piece with larger gemstones, we recommend opting for a "Comfort fit" to account for the thickness of the beads.
Jewelry Care Guide & Instructions
• The "Roll" Technique: To keep the elastic strong, gently roll your beaded bracelets over your hand and onto your wrist rather than over-stretching them.
• Keep it Dry: Always remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising to protect the integrity of the beads and stones.
• Last Step, First Out: Apply all lotions, perfumes, and hairsprays and let them dry completely before putting on your jewelry.
• Gentle Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe your pieces. Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners, especially on natural stones and repurposed vintage components.
• Proper Storage: Store your one-of-a-kind pieces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or damage.
